Data Quest also assists in the management of video systems by providing remote video monitoring services. Both the client and Data Quest investigators have the
ability to access the machine from remote locations (i.e., anywhere in the world with a DSL connection or better) and access the video archives. Data Quest currently
maintains specialized computer viewing stations with technologically advanced capabilities that are manned by skilled investigators.
The "remote" feature gives investigators the tool they require to monitor and track all employees and locations in the client's location. Investigators strategically
monitor camera locations at times that are most likely to exhibit employee dishonesty and misconduct. Such misconduct that Data Quest investigators have monitored
includes narcotics trafficking and ingestion, alcohol consumption, larceny of money and merchandise, time fraud and sexually inappropriate behavior. Investigators
generate a report with still photos embedded in them and submit it to the client.
Data Quest utilizes the information derived from the reports from the remote monitoring division in conjunction with the agency's other divisions to optimize the
likelihood of the investigation's success. Ultimately, this insures that the client's legal, shrinkage and safety issues are realized. The photographs from each
report are securely stored in Data Quest's server and may be accessed at anytime as strong evidence in court.
This service is inexpensive and strongly augments the deterrent effect of video security. Data Quest currently offers this service to bars, nightclubs, restaurants,
warehouses and distribution hubs. Clients typically agree to purchase a predetermined amount of viewing hours per week or month, and may choose to increase or decrease
hours at any time based on the information derived from the reports.
